Ways to Reduce Weight with Endermology

Non-surgical and mechanical massage therapy is known as Endermology. The process involves massaging of the skin using a special machine which increases the blood supply and lymph fluid to the specified area, accompanied by collagen production, thereby making the skin smoother. It’s a cellulite treatment that involves massaging, rolling, and sucking at the skin surface to stimulate the break up of stubborn deposits of cellulite.

Cellulite is a condition that is a common complaint among women where the skin bears resemblance to an orange peel and it mostly occurs on the hips, thighs and buttocks. Being an anti-cellulite treatment, the main aim of Endermology is to make the skin smooth and give a slimmer look and a reduced amount of cellulite.

A special aspiration and rolling motion is applied to deep specific areas in a way that is not possible to replicate. A special clothing is provided to be worn, usually a stretchy cotton covering and cylindrical rollers are placed on the area and rolled gently. The treatment is not painful and the effect of strong suction often resembles a massage. It has an impact on the tissue thereby dissolving the cellulite and stimulates the circulation throughout the layers of skin.

Nutritional materials and fresh oxygen to all layers of skin is brought by the increase in blood and lymph supplies. Endermology causes improved circulation which flushes out excess water and fat out of the body.

Endermology sessions include gentle suction with two active rollers, like 2 rolling pins, and a motorized vibrator massage of the skin. As the thickness of the subcutaneous fat layer decreases, blood flow and lymphatic drainage increase, facilitating the elimination of excess fluid and fat cells. A typical treatment takes around 45 minutes and a number of sessions are recommended. Immediate resumption of work and social life after the treatment is possible

Endermology is often used after a tumescent liposculpture procedure, to smooth the appearance of the treated area.

During the fourteen week course of treatment, patients are asked to drink two to three liters of water a day to help flush their systems.

A large number of case studies have shown an increase in circulation, boost in lymphatic drainage, restoration in collagen function which in turn results in toxins being eliminated throughout the body’s own system. The skin and tissues are allowed to get firm, smooth and toned due to the stretching of the connective fibres.
